Balanced first and second stages with Auto Closure Device and Permanent Dry Chamber for enhanced freeze resistance and low breathing effort. Includes 2 HP (7/16″) and 4 MP (3/8″) ports in a T orientation; available in DIN (4,350 psi / 300 bar) or Yoke (3,300 psi / 232 bar).
First stage
- Auto Closure Device (ACD): Keeps the inlet closed when not connected to a cylinder to protect internal parts from debris and corrosive water, helping maintain oxygen compatibility and preserve internal lubrication.
- Permanent Dry Chamber: Isolates internal components from moisture to enhance freeze resistance in cold-water dives.
- Over-balanced (Auto-Balanced) mechanism: Compensates interstage pressure to reduce breathing effort consistently at all depths and tank pressures.
- Balanced diaphragm: Provides consistent, superior performance.
- Blue high-pressure seat: Durable sealing seat that opens and closes with every breath and handles increased breathing gas density.
- Dust cap protection: Attached dust cap protects the inlet fitting and ACD and seals the first stage when off the tank.
- Ports: 2 HP ports (7/16") and 4 MP ports (3/8") oriented in a "T" shape for streamlined hose routing.
- Availability: DIN (4,350 psi / 300 bar max.) and Yoke (3,300 psi / 232 bar max.).
Second stage
- Cover opening channels: Radial openings direct water sideways over the diaphragm to reduce freeflow and lower cracking effort by about 20% in strong currents.
- Venturi adjustment switch: Allows precise control of valve assistance between MIN and MAX to adjust inhalation effort; designed for use with gloves.
- Pneumatically balanced: Ensures smooth, easy breathing at all depths.
- Heat exchanger: Helps prevent ice formation on the valve inlet.
- ComfoBite mouthpiece: Patented orthodontic silicone mouthpiece with a palate bridge to reduce jaw fatigue and improve retention.
- Interchangeable, reusable mouthpiece clip: Tool-free mouthpiece changes to reduce plastic waste.
- Braided hose: Provides flexibility, comfort, and compact transportability.
