- Cover opening channels: Wide radial openings on the front cover allow water to flow sideways over the diaphragm, helping prevent freeflows in strong currents and reducing cracking effort by 20%.
- Venturi adjustment switch: Overmolded elastomer lever with ergonomic design for glove-friendly operation. The MIN position minimizes valve assistance (higher inhalation effort to avoid freeflow); the MAX position maximizes assistance (lower inhalation effort).
- Pneumatically balanced: Ensures smooth, consistent breathing performance at varying depths.
- Heat exchanger: Reduces risk of ice forming on the valve inlet in cold conditions.
